Larry Crowne: 3.5 Out Of 5 Stars

Hello People!
It's been a while since we have written a review, but now i've finally gotten around to it again! Today, i went to see the film Larry Crowne, and was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. The movie was charming, funny and cute, while being a film that everyone can enjoy. The story follows Larry Crowne, a man who just got laid off from his job because of the fact that he didn't go to college. Larry is utterly disappointed, so he heads to the local community college. There he meets new friends, and finds his love interest, played by Julia Roberts. Both Julia and Mr. Hanks do a wonderful job in this movie, and it is truly a treat to see them acting together! I really enjoyed the way that they blended comedy and drama so flawlessly. My only criticism i that at times, the movie could be a bit more serious, and it can be very slow at some parts. Overall, i would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys Tom Hanks!
Peace People!

The Tourist = 3/5 stars

Before I even went to see this movie, I was thinking was going to see an exiting, action packed movie that was going to have a really awesome story line. When I was done, I was a little disappointed. The movie gets kind of slow in a lot of the movie, and does not have very many action scenes in it. At a lot of parts, the movie can be very unrealistic. But Johnny Depp can be pretty funny in this movie. And I have to admit that I was very surprised at the end of the movie. The whole movie was somewhat a love story the whole time. And I noticed a lot of familiar actors such as Paul Betteny, Rufus Sewell, and Timothy Dalton who are all great actors! The scenery was also good! If you are a big fan of Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie and like a good somewhat action love story, you should go see this movie. If not I wouldnt recommend it.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader = 5/5 stars

This movie was excellent. When I first heard that the two older siblings, Peter and Susan, were not in the movie, I was a little disappointed. But, I was also excited to know that the movie was not going to be done by Disney anymore which means there would be more action! And there was!!! The action sequencing was one of the biggest highlights of this movie. The story line was very good also! It always kept you guessing at every turn which made the movie very intense at parts. There also was some humorous parts to the movie. The music reminded me at some parts of Pirates of the Caribbean which was awesome! Grammy Award winning David Arnold did a very good job composing the music! The scenery and special effects were amazing! The acting also improved a lot since the last movie! The adding of Lucy and Edmunds cousin Eustace to the movie was also kind of cool. And I loved the way that some of the characters, especially Aslan, symbolize a bigger meaning. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

Tangled 4/5 stars

This fairy tale classic of Rapunzel is brought to the big screens in a comic way. I was very surprised when i saw the movie because at first you would think that it would be just a typical disney movie made for little kids only. But as you watch it, you find yourself smiling, and than laughing out loud! The story line was very good also because it has its twists of the original fairy tale! The only bad part was the way the movie ended. Go see this movie if you want a really good laugh!!!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 = ★★★★★

This is truly a great movie. it stays true to the book and is full of some intense scenes!!! Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione, are left with a giant quest of survival, and the saving of the whole world with the death of Dumbledore in the previous movie. They must destroy Voldemort at all costs by destroying all 7 of his horcruxes. But where to start, and how do you destroy them? This epic movie shows the journey of Harry and his friends as they embark on the biggest, dangerous adventure of their lives. The stakes are higher and the Dark Lord is as strong as ever. The music by Alexandre Desplat, was excellent and intriguing. The story line was very good but gets a little slow towards the middle but is made up for by the action scenes. My only criticism is the way the movie ended. It ended very open at the end but builds suspense for the next movie. If you go see this movie, you will not be disappointed!

This is Nicholas with my first review!
